As most of you guys know, we were holding a $150 Steppie shopping spree giveaway contest on our Facebook page. It just closed last night, and I’m overwhelmed by the response — nearly 1,300 entries with over 250+ comments from the sweetest people ever discussing what their favorite Steppie products were, why they like our brand, and how they found us. I spent all last night reading every single comment and it’s difficult to explain exactly how I feel…
Weekly, I’m shipping out packages domestically and internationally, but I sometimes forget that each little package is being shipped to a home and to a person who supports my brand. Even when I’m vendoring at shows, my time spent with each customer is limited to a few minutes, sometimes a few seconds, and the idea that they’re going home and sporting my brand is mind boggling. This probably sounds crazy to you… I mean, yeah, I run a clothing brand. But I think when you’re in the thick of it, doing day by day tasks, it’s hard to remember the bigger picture. Seeing all those heartwarming comments last night really brought it home for me though. Though there are many plus sides to making my passion a career, not all days are so pleasant. But you all remind me to be grateful, and make it all worth it to keep pushing harder… and pushing forward. So, thank you for that.
