Steppie is a clothing and accessory brand inspired by all things cute, light-hearted, and even a bit witty. Best known for our panda faces and “I Am A Ninja” apparel, Steppie was started in 2008 as a playful creative project and has organically grown since — celebrating the entrepreneur journey and idea of turning your passion into your paycheck. With the mission of making a lasting first impression and a focus on fusing nostalgic childhood doodles with everyday wear, we make it be known that cute is never out of style.

Independent artist + designer + entrepreneur from California in the US of A. I am 25 years old, and my business is three years old… and was an ‘accident’ or unintentional, actually. It is definitely an extension of who I am –- some even say the pandas kinda look like me. I’ll take it as a compliment. Aside from spending some very-much-needed leisure time with the people I love most, being obsessed with reality tv shows, and chasing after the pup, my work is pretty much full time.
While I admit I can spend a whole day at a desk, it’s only if I’ve got the tools I need to be creative. Or my Mac Book Pro. It’s kind of my life. I know, sad.
So, I’m kind of a geek;
But I’m ok with that.

I graduated from the University of California, Irvine in ’08, and that following summer began my adventure: what started as a hobby turned into something so much greater. Something I never thought I’d have the guts to do (mind you, nothing I studied in college had anything to do with art or design). Everyday I surprise myself, and I always find myself saying that while I’m no where near where I want to be, I’m a lot farther than I thought I would be.
My clothing line celebrates the power of first impressions; it’s fun, witty, and nothing too serious. Our brand also celebrates pursuing our passions, the entrepreneur experience, and the idea of doing more of what we love to do.
At the end of the day, I owe it all to my family and friends who have been supportive since day one. I also can’t forget my growing Steppie fam of supporters. To you… it might just be a $20 bill you dropped on a t-shirt you plan to wear when you’re feeling awesome. To me… this is my life, my passion, and (because of you) my reality. So, thank you.
