And with it being just a bit past midnight, the Steppie Cyber Monday 2011 sale is officially over!
As expected (and warned in our shop and website), the sale resulted in a high volume of sales. Because we didn’t want to cut off anyone from receiving our special discounts, we knew that there would be a high chance of certain designs being subject to running out of stock upon purchase. The designs that became out of stock during the sale will be reprinted and shipped out once ready.
Estimation of delivery for orders with backordered items is 2-3 weeks. You will be notified by Wednesday, 11/30 if this affects your order. For the rest of you, orders with all items in stock will be shipped out before the end of the week.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but thank you for your understanding and patience. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact me through Etsy convo or by email the.steppie@gmail.com.
Thank you to everyone that helped spread the word and for making November 28, 2011 probably my biggest online sales date yet! I’m so thrilled at the amount of you who were enthusiastic about the sale and got to cross a lot off your holiday shopping list (even if the presents were for yourself — I won’t tell anyone!). Well, enough chit chat — time to sort through orders and get packages out to your doorstep as quickly as possible! Tweet / Facebook / Tumblr me with photos when you receive them!

Also enjoy 15% off the entire online shop!
SPECIAL NOTICE:
Due to expected high pace of sales, clothing is subject to being out of stock upon purchase, so act fast! Designs that become out of stock during the sale will be restocked and estimation of delivery is 2-3 weeks. You will be notified if this affects your order.
Good news? Even if you have to wait a bit longer, you still get to grab your pieces at discounted rates!
Happy shopping, everyone!
I still remember when I got the huge spool of baker’s twine early last year to spice up my Steppie packaging routine. It was bigger than Conan, and I honestly felt like I’d never get through the entire thing.
20 months later, and it’s dwindling down to its last layers. Granted the pup grew into not-so-much-a-pup within those 20 months, it’s still worthy to note that the spool is now the size of Conan’s tail.
This twine has wrapped up every single Steppie shirt or sweater I’ve ever shipped out since March 2010. It’s been all over the US and has seen countries I have only dreamed of seeing. Sure, it’s equated to numerous extra hours of wrapping and bow-tying, but hearing just one person’s experience of it feeling like opening up a present (how I think every package should feel like) makes it all worth it.
I’m pretty sure the remainders of the spool will get devoured before the end of the holiday season. So with that and the spirit of Thanksgiving approaching, thank you. Thank you for helping me get through over 10,000 feet of baker’s twine. Thank you for feeding my passion and helping the brand stay afloat. This holiday season, I’ll definitely be thinking of you.
Here’s to… many more ginormous spools of twine.
So, shall I keep the cardboard cones and see how many I can collect?
