We’ve updated the announcement bar on our online shop, but wanted to be sure there wasn’t any confusion —

SHIPPING WILL BE DELAYED BY A WEEK FOR ALL SALES MADE FROM 5/13 UNTIL 5/22 AS WE ARE CURRENTLY OUT OF TOWN FOR AN EVENT!

We apologize for the inconvenience, but appreciate your patience during this time. We wanted to avoid closing the shop entirely for the week, but please take note of the shipping delay prior to ordering. Please also know that our event this week will affect our response to e-mails and Etsy convos. If I don’t answer you immediately, you will definitely get a response once we start shipping orders out again. Thank you again for understanding!

A little bit of good news though — the reason why we’ll be gone this week is for our last vendor fair of the school year at UC Irvine! We’ll be bringing our new Spring collection, along with a lot of fun sale bins for you guys to dig through! Think: your last chance to get some pieces from old collections, and even a few ‘vintage’ collectibles (harhar) at super discounted prices!

There’s a chance of rain on Tuesday so if we’re closed up that day, you know why… but other than that, you can find us at the usual spot the rest of the week! See you then! :)

Instant Noodles Crew got voted off ABDC last night… but this post isn’t a sad one. Sure, we’re disappointed at the results of last night’s episode, but we’re definitely more excited to see what’s next for the crew.

One of the great things about what I do is being able to connect with people I might not have had the chance to otherwise, and our friendship with Instant Noodles is definitely a prime example of that. I actually met Rob of Instant Noodles through one of my photographers, Sylvia ‘Chigs’ Gunde… and he actually ended modeling in my very first photoshoot (Spring ’09).

Only seems right to put him on blast for just a second (harhar)…

This led to meeting Rob’s brother, Tom, who’s also apart of the crew (though you might not have seen him on TV). Tom ended up filming and editing a couple of my photoshoot videos — talk about a talented family! You can view one of the videos here.

So, when Instant Noodles found out they made it onto ABDC’s season 6, everything just kind of aligned and fell into place between their crew and our brand, and before we knew it… we saw familiar faces on national television next to our silly ninja faces every Thursday night. It’s been a crazy ride… and we couldn’t be more proud to have Instant Noodles Crew represent our brand. They keep it real, don’t take themselves too seriously, and are all about keeping it lighthearted and fun. If you know anything about our brand, you know we’re all about that too.

This isn’t the end of Instant Noodles x Steppie, and this is only the beginning of Instant Noodles Crew’s journey. Congrats boys on your successful run on ABDC season 6! We’re excited to see what’s in store for you guys next!

We’ve done our fair share of Unique LA events, but our enthusiasm for the show only grows.

We’ll be back for the Spring 2011 event this coming weekend on the penthouse floor of the California Market Center in downtown Los Angeles! It’ll be going down from 11am to 6pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

Find us at booth #256 near the FREE DRINKS area! ;)
