Although our online store can reach everyone worldwide, it does create a barrier between our brand and our supporters, which is why we set up shop at local shows and events around the Southern California area. Notably, some of them include: DIY/indie events, music + dance shows, college vendor fairs, and many more! We typically do several a month, so keep checking this page for our schedule — and promise you’ll drop by and hang out with us!

This past Saturday, I headed west to Los Angeles with an SUV full to the roof with pandas and ninjas. I parked my car at the city’s historic park, dragged my boxes of goods across a long patch of grass, and after an hour or two of setting up, was finally ready for the Renegade LA Craft Fair.

It was a weekend of sunny skies, shade-hungry puppies, and thousands of LA-ers ready to fly a few kites, drink $3 water, and battle through the 250+ vendor booths full of handmade goodness. But it’s no secret: no one wants to hear me talk, they just want to see some pictures. So, here’s some visual stimulation to get you through the work week… enjoy!

Phew — did you get through all of that? There’s more from where that came from. To take a peek at the 100+ photos I have from Renegade, take a little detour to my Facebook page to find the Renegade LA, Summer 2010 photo album. You can “like” me there too, if you’d like. No pressure.

The long weekend work days weren’t easy, but were made a tons times better by the people I got to meet and the friends and family that dropped by. I can’t forget to mention my amazing crew — Andy, David, Anton, Lily, and Harry — who helped me man the booth, kept the camera snapping, provided me with a place to crash, and even made sure I got my drink and dance on mid-weekend. Hey, a little fun never hurt. So, to those who dropped by to say hello, and to those who suffered through hours spent with me at the Steppie booth… thank you.

And… I’m out.

Leave me comments.
And don’t forget to check out the full Renegade LA album on Facebook.
