uc irvine, there isn’t much to say except that you’re my favorite place to vend at simply because you’re familiar territory and you always supply me with constant company from some of my favorite people. but really, words are overrated… on to the photos!

not gonna lie, i’ve been trying to avoid starting this post. simply because i know there’s a lot to cover and this is the first of many. these are way overdue, and it’s been a crazy past month or so! luckily, i’m feeling ambitious tonight.

a couple weeks ago, immediately after the unique los angeles show, genie (petit plume) and i packed our car and headed down to san diego. there were definitely difficulties that came up along the way, but any trip with genie seems to be full of shenanigans and “situations,” and it seems to be best that way. too many inside jokes and laughing/crying that ensued due to our delirious state… “mini-tours” are no joke! lol… but on to the photos!

she was wearing TWO layers of ninja gear! niiiiice.

sushilicious, mamma mia, and filippes… thank you for making my belly happy.

and thank you, erin, for the homemade red velvet cupcakes! you are too sweet!

our half-week in san diego for the UCSD vendor fair (spring 2010 edition) wasn’t an easy one. it seemed to be full of obstacles, road bumps, and crazy weather… don’t let the photos fool you! rainy mornings and crazy wind that knocked down my entire clothing rack and broke my heart! but at least the food made the trip worth it. and, of course, the people. the first person to stop by my booth on wednesday morning was a loyal customer i recognized from past vendor fairs, and her excitement to see me there made it clear to me that the trip was definitely worth it. and seeing old faces and being surprised with homemade cupcakes and birthday surprises (thank you, erin and esther)? couldn’t have asked for me.

hello m’ninjas:

i’m sitting in a cute little coffee shop in the new town i just moved into, and felt like a small little update was very necessary. first things first, considering how reliant and dependent i am on the interwebz, it’s been an interesting experience having no internet connection in our new house for the past few days. it isn’t being set up until wednesday, and so far the past two days have been a little dreadful. might be a good thing considering i’m staying productive (and the pup’s getting spoiled with attention), but not so cool when it comes to updating my website and answering business e-mails. my apologies, and hope you all understand!

aside from the temporary move (i’m moving again in 2-3 months… long story), i just got back from a windy half-week at UC san diego. it all seems like a big blur of car adventures, flying canopies, and good food. sometimes i think the trip down to san diego is slightly unpractical (costs for travel, gas, etc really add up), but i can’t deny that seeing familiar faces again always makes the experience worthwhile. some of the students i’ve met in san diego are my most loyal fans, and being able to catch up with them and see that they’re still rocking their steppie gear with pride makes me smile. anyhoots, photos will be uploaded soon. thanks for the good times, san diego!

next up for my mini socal tour is my absolute favorite place to vend: UC irvine! it’s more like play than work, so i’m excited to be returning! new tanks, special deals, and even the pup will be there if that motivates you! hope to see you there!

important note: for those of you who have already made orders through my etsy shop, please refer to my shop announcement for more information regarding shipping delays. i thank you for your patience through this crazy time, and apologize for my lack of communication (i hate not having internet!). once the week in irvine is complete, working on your orders will be my first priority! thanks loves!
