This weekend looks to be an exciting one for any entertainment-enthusiasts, and lucky me gets to be at the heart of it all.

This Sunday marks Wong Fu Productions‘ and Far East Movement‘s fourth International Secret Agents (ISA) concert, and this time around I have the opportunity to set up shop at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts for the event! I’m pretty excited to just be there, since the line-up includes a few artists I admire and a few friends I’m happy to support. And an event supporting Asian American talent? I’m all for that!

I’ll let the epic trailer do the rest of the talking…

ISA has been sold out for a few weeks now, so if you were lucky enough to snag a ticket… I’ll see you there!

Heading southbound, Boogiezone University will be taking place in Irvine all weekend. It is a 3 day technical dance intensive featuring classes taught by the community’s and industry’s most sought after choreographers who specialize in a variety of dance styles like Hip Hop, Contemporary, and various foundation based styles. Sadly, I won’t be able to set up booth at BZU like planned, but I am sponsoring the event and you’ll be able to find some giveaway opportunities if you’re attending the 3-day event. The line-up of “faculty” choreographers is sickkk, so be ready to work!

Whether I see your face or not, have an amazing weekend, m’ninjas!

Being one of my longest work days yet, World of Dance SD started with leaving my house at 9 in the morning and not returning til 3 the next morning. Despite the long hours though, the trip down to San Diego proved to be a worthwhile one.

A huge thank you to my friends that dropped by on Saturday to help out — Melanie and Nahgooyin — but a HUGE thank you to Heidi for joining me for the trip down to San Diego, for helping me load/unload and set up, and for spending the entire 16-hour day with me without a complaint. So so thankful, you have no idea!

Show frenzy isn’t quite over yet though… I’ll be vending at the International Secret Agents LA concert this Sunday and sponsoring the Boogiezone University this weekend as well. More info coming soon!

It feels like I just made a trip down to San Diego, but I’ll be driving there once more for World of Dance this Saturday at the San Diego Concourse. It should be another big dance-fest, so come out if you’re in the area and feel like watching the show or doing a little shopping. It shouldn’t be too difficult to spot my pandas and ninjas amidst the sea of hip hop attire… so I hope to see your face!

If you’re north of San Diego and can’t make it out this weekend, be on the look out for my appearances at the ISA concert and Boogiezone University next weekend!

Last weekend, I was down in San Diego for FAP 2.0 when I recognized a familiar face in the crowd: the Mario Kart guy! If you don’t know what I’m talking about, then you’re not one of the 5 million people that has viewed his crazy popular (and uber cute) Mario Kart Love Song video on Youtube:

Although best known as the “Mario Kart” guy, his name’s Sam Hart and for the few minutes I got to chat with him (before he got bombarded by teenage girls to take photos and sign autographs), I could tell he was a really genuine guy.

His originals and covers are always lighthearted and quirky, touching on topics that probably hit a soft spot from our childhood. Well, he’s done it again, with his cover of the theme song from “Adventures of the Gummi Bears”:

Oh… did I mention he’s wearing an “I Am A Ninja” tee? ;)

Last night, I stayed up until three o’clock in the morning painting, stamping, and glazing hearts for a batch of new wooden heart rings. It’s been a crazy August so far, and it’s hustle time since this weekend is Unique OC!

Do work.
